Rachel is incredible! After visiting another seamstress I was disappointed and felt that I was going to have to āput upā with a dress that still gaped and of which I felt uncomfortable walking in due to the heavy layers of fabric in the skirt. I found Rachel on Facebook and her positive reviews gave me hope. At my fitting with her she put me entirely at ease, explaining what could still be done regarding the issues I had with the dress. She was confident, kind and reassuring and I found myself trusting her entirely. Two days later, when I picked up and tried my dress back on after her alterations I am feeling so relieved and grateful that I chose not to just ādeal withā the dress as it was. Rachel and the team were fantastic at dealing with my wedding dress, I had sized up originally from fear of gaining weight but instead lost a heap. It took a few appointments to downsize, however, it was quite an intricate dress and Rachel was very flexible with my bookings due to living 2 hours away. I would highly recommend Rachels Custom Sewing, the team are all very chilled and easy/fun to chat with, also had many laughs which just made the experience less stressful in the lead up to the wedding. Everyone at Rachel's custom sewing was so pleasant and helpful. The service was very prompt, dropped in my pants off on Monday afternoon and had them back by Thursday. They did such a good job on my pants alteration, couldn't have asked for anything better.

The ladies from Rachel's Custom Sewing did an amazing job on my wedding dress. From the first try on they knew exactly what to do to make the dress work for my body shape and show of the detail of the dress. Nothing was to much trouble to have me looking my best on the day. The work vibe in the office was warm and friendly and when I brought my 7 year old for his pants fitting they made him feel part of the whole experience of having his clothes fitted for the wedding to. We mostly dealt with Chloe who had great ideas to make the dress work and took care and time to make it just right. Highly recommend this team for any sewing requirements.
Rachel and Chloe were so wonderful and welcoming and are total pros! The most drastic work I had done was getting a dress I loved from when I was much smaller taken from a size 10 to a 14. Long story short, being able to wear this little black dress again has made feel so confident and made me realise Garments are made to fit me not the other way around. Thanks to Rachel and Chloe for making this possible ā¤ļø She also replaced a button and covered some cigarette burns in other garments for me, great work! 10/10

I cannot recommend Rachelās Custom Sewing enough! I contacted Rachel a week out from my wedding as I just wasnāt happy with my wedding dress bustle. Iād been told that what I had was the only option but Rachel proved that wrong. She gave me 3 different options and then worked her magic! She even fixed one of myself straps as well! Rachel was able to take my very long train and completely bustle it under the dress so it looked like I had a floor length gown all along. This meant I could dance and move freely without fear of tripping over my dress. I would not hesitate to take any alterations to Rachel and her lovely team. You wonāt be disappointed!!
